What is ARCHIMEDES DAY
ARCHIMEDES DAY is a new international format that brings the legacy of Archimedes into the present through education, live broadcasting, science outreach and community connection.
The first edition will take place on June 19, 2026 and will be connected with the ARCHIMEDES Live platform, the ARCHIMEDES outdoor classrooms network and international partners.

Why this day is named after Archimedes
Archimedes is one of the most important figures of ancient science. He represents curiosity, precise thinking, technical imagination and the ability to turn ideas into practical solutions.
